I ordered a lamb cake for Easter, they called me a few days later,and said the lamb cake's not gonna be like the old-fashioned lamb cake. I kept the order because when they were on Van Dyke I used to order my kids cakes years ago from them. I kept the cake in the box until I brought it to the family gathering, To my surprise, the cake was horrible.The frosting was funny tasting and the cake was dry. But most of all, the cake was doused in tons of frosting. The frosting started to separate from the cake. I would never, I repeat. Never order anything from Sweetheart bakery. The cake was not worth $ 29.99. Total rip off.

So my family and I have been going here for 40 plus years. The last 3 years have been horrible!! All 3 years we placed bread/pastry orders for Easter and all 3 years they were missing items or not the right items. Everytume the ladies say the same thing, take up with the Kelly location, they screwed up the orders, didn't make enough, etc. Then to make it worse they were taking breads from other people's orders and giving them to people who were complaining which wasn't right either. Then I tried to get some cookies and got completely ignored for over 15 mins. When the lady kept asking who was next if raise my hand, she'd look at me and wait on someone else. Also, they had only butter cookies with sugar on them, only 3 different kinds of bread available and very limited pastries. Very disappointing 😞 unfortunately this will be my last year going to this bakery.

10/10 would recommend this bakery!! I needed a smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday. I wanted to find one that used natural dyes. I called a few bakery’s and this is the only one that was willing to use a natural dye. They had me bring in a box of the dye I wanted! The cake turned out perfect, looked great, tasted great and they were really really decently priced too!! I also had a dozen cupcakes made with my dye and it was great too! My only complaint was it was supposed to be a bright pink but it turned out more of a really really light pink. Totally okay, especially since they were using my dye! But I just wish I would have been called when they were making it before I picked it up so I would have known. But I would 100% use this bakery again!

Kathy is the best! I’ve gotten my wedding cake, and two of my sisters wedding cake made from here and it was phenomenal. Kathy is so helpful and kind and makes the whole process a breeze!

I can't say enough about this place. I have been a customer of the main location on Kelly rd for over 30 years, and this was my first visit at this location. The ladies there are sweeter than the baked goods they sell. They showered us with kindness and we couldn't have asked for better. This location is a little limited BUT all you have to do is call them and they can have items sent over from the main store.

Everyone was super helpful and kind throughout the process!Our cake turned out exactly how we envisioned it and we still rave about it today!A lot can go wrong on a wedding day, but one thing that certainly exceeded our expectations was their service and quality, not to mention how delicious the cake was.If you are in need of a cake for any type of event, we can't recommend them enough.
