Thai Star is a small and quaint spot with a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. While the décor feels a bit outdated, it adds to the charm of an established local restaurant that focuses on what truly matters — good food at reasonable prices.
Each meal comes with a spring roll and soup, both of which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pad Cashew with added water chestnuts, and it was incredible — I’ve been craving it ever since. My partner had the Pad Prik with shrimp, which was also great, though I’d recommend trying it with beef instead for a richer flavor.
The service was decent, though not particularly warm, but the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. Overall, Thai Star is a great date spot and a perfect choice for anyone who values authentic, flavorful Thai food over fancy presentation.

Wonderful food , but you really need help in the dining room at lunch 1 person cannot wait on 25 tables and cash out customers. Other than that great food ! Your a great value for sure! Just budget time at least on lunch .

I went with a friend who considers this place his favorite Thai restaurant. I had the pad Thai curry with chicken, mild because of my GERD, and it was so delicious! The soups are very good, the spring rolls crispy and tasty, and hot, fresh from the fryer!! I look forward to returning, soon!

Food is average however the server was Extremely rude even when I was being polite which is totally uncalled for. The server just didn’t to care and keep rolling her eyes. Pathetic!!! Never coming back here to be treated this badly. I wouldn’t be surprised if the management does not act on this feedback.
