I stopped here to meet with my friend who lives across town from me. I was looking for a spot we could meet really quickly because she’s pregnant and I’m going to be her doula. We found this spot in the middle and were going to talk here for a little, maybe like 30 minutes. The owner comes over to us and asks if we want to get anything, my friend says no thanks because the baby doesn’t like coffee. I look at the menu but I say no thank you because I honestly didn’t want anything. I didn’t know that this was a place that didn’t allow you to come in and talk/do work unless you buy something. The owner proceeds to rudely kick us out and say we are loitering. The place is run down, dirty, the outside sign is broken, and I almost fell sitting down in the chair because it was falling apart. If you care anything about aesthetics, cleanliness, and good customer service, avoid this place.

The photos from Google were very promising. As an artist, I like the style of the place. It's very artsy with comic style illustrations and cartoon characters all over the place. I spent some time observing the art on the wall, which was mesmerizing. I can see a lot of young hippie people coming here. The open mic looks much fun. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience it.
The only issue I have is that its very dirty. The bathroom (gender neutral) was gross. As a woman, I wasn't comfortable to use it and had to clean the toilet with toilet paper and soap. Some of the furniture looks ruined and filthy. You can have a quirky style while being clean.
The man serving the coffee, whom I'm assuming is the owner, was very nice. The prices are pretty good for a latte. Highly recommend the coffee.
If it wasn't for the cleanliness, I would give it a higher rating.

The Dovetail is the go-to place in this part of Warren for community groups to meet, or individuals to hang out and work on a project in a quiet atmosphere. They have some dairy-free options including drinks made with oat or almond milk. I like the dirty chai with oat milk. Of course their espresso is very good. It’s espresso! They only have one person making all the drinks so be patient (I can’t say if they have more staff during busy mornings. I do recall seeing a second person behind the counter on occasion). They have open mic nights on various themes. Most of all I like the original art that is all over the place, including lots of murals.
Very cool spot, welcoming owner and atmosphere, and I like that they stay open late! I’d come back and recommend this spot!

When I did a Google search for a coffee shop near Warren, I saw this place and, frankly, it looked amazing. Frankly, it is amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the mocha latte was so good, and the bagel sandwich was delicious. I will highly recommend it.
