Uncle Joe’s Chicken Fingers

First time here but heard good things so wanted to try it out. Chicken tenders were crispy outside and so juicy inside, fries were cooked perfectly, toast was yummy and their Uncle Joe's dipping sauce was soooo good. Will definitely go back!

The chicken, and fries where really good, I just prefer more seasoning. Their house dressing/sause, and ranch are AMAZING! Their slaw is the best I've ever had! Their prices are also decent! We will be back for sure!

I was ok. Not the same. My tenders weren't as crispy as usual. The Uncle Joes sauce was good!

Tried the $20 Trio at Uncle Joe’s — catfish, tenders, fried shrimp, fries, toast, and a drink. The portions are generous, but the flavor didn’t wow me.

Love their chicken fingers. Hate the greasy fries. Need side options.

Love the chicken tenders at Joe's! Fried to perfection, and pairs perfectly with the Joe's sauce. Good size tenders so it's tough to decide whether you want the 4 piece or 6 piece, that will depend if you are a doggy bag kind of person or need to eat it all now. Not often you get Texas toast with a chicken tender meal so I enjoy that side item as well. Plenty of seating inside with a few TVs in the center of the dining room facing different questions (like a score board at the Red wings game)

Wish they'd keep their hours updated. Just wasted a half hour coming here, wanting some chicken tenders and they're closed even though they state online that they're open until 10. It's only 9:17

Best chicken fingers ever! “Uncle” Joe is a very nice and honest guy also. If you don’t see him behind the counter, he’s likely at his Southfield location working hard there.

Was next door and realized I had forgotten to finish packing my lunch today. D'OH!

Ordered the fish sandwich, cod is a choice but I went with catfish. Big piece of fish there! And seriously hot. Had to wait a few minutes before I could start eating. It was among the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten. Crunchy outside, tender inside.
Since I was trying to be a good boy (calorically), I skipped the fries & drink. My total was $8 plus tax.
The menu isn't huge but covers quite a bit of ground with what is there.
When I was there, I was the only one eating in. Plenty of take-out/delivery orders, though.
I would like to see a spicy version of Uncle Joe's sauce. They have a mango habenero & a sriracha but that sauce specifically kicked up sounds great to me.
I expect I'll try some of the others when I return to finish my business @ Midas later in the week.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room inside but I didn't see the main entrance so... I'll try to update next time

Pretty good! Chicken tenders kinda small but tasted great. The shrimp and Mac & cheese was good as well. The Texas toast is AMAZING. Definitely will return.

Ordered chicken fingers and fries $11+
The fries were crispy and good.
Chicken pieces were very small (just larger than nuggets), breading was crispy though a little dry and no taste to breading or chicken. Will not be back.
Try Frank’s Party Store & Deli (14 Mound), their chicken strip meal is fantastic. Juicy chicken, potato wedges, dipping sauce and a roll. You get so much more for your money.
