Wow, talk about a hidden gem. I work at the Tech Center and am always looking for great restaurants in the area. I was not aware of this place until a coworker suggested we try it out. I had pulled pork sandwich. The meat was perfectly cooked and their sauce was amazing. I highly recommed this place if you’d like some delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.
We had the smoke wings great smoke, but salty, the cornbeef sandwich great, the maverick ?, and the bid hotdog was good with the bacon and cheese added. Overall, we will go back for another taste.
So it has been probably 6 years since i gave this place a shot and was not as impressed as I wanted to be. However I randomly decided to stop by and grab half pound of point brisket to give it another run and... whoa. I have to say this was 8/10 perfection. If this meat was salted more and had more black pepper it would qualify as the best brisket I've had from a store front. Proper bark and very tender and rendered brisket for point it wasn't overly greasy.
