we were 5 guys who wanted to check out this place. Below is the honest review:
1. Parking: There is very limited parking at the place. You have to park the car on the road. Avoid parking at the 7-11.
2. Ordered the following food:
MAGLOBAH LAMB: very few vegetables. Few bits and pieces of lamb that didn't come with the bone. The rice was below average taste. Salad was adequate. The whole dish was of poor taste and quality. Small portion. POOR TASTE and quality.
BILQEES MANDI and MENTHI is 100 times delicious, superior in taste and you can easily feed two ppl and cost less as well.
CUCUMBER YOUGURT SALAD: Tasted like expired yogurt, base sour after taste. Cucumbers were mushy, hence not fresh cucumbers. Poor taste and quality.
LEMON MINT: More lemon and less mint in it. Too SWEET and hardly i could call it smoothie or a slushy. Poor quality and taste. BILQEES mint lemonade is far superior in taste and quality.
HOOKAH: their own special blend was decent.
SERVICE: adequate but I feel my friend was over charged by $15 more. When you get the bill make sure you get an ITEMIZED bill of each item you had. I paid almost $55 for food that was NOT WORTH at all.
I will ONLY come to have hookah here. I will not suggest to come here for dinner or desert. It was an utter disappointment.
Parking: Please make sure you do not park in the 7-11 parking lot, otherwise your car will be towed. Best to park on the road.

The best falafel I have ever had in my LIFE and I have had a lot of falafel. We stopped in before our road trip back home and kicked ourselves for not ordering more. Planning to return home to Detroit soon and this will undoubtedly be our first stop.

The exterior looks plain worth venturing in. The owner/ chef moved from his famous restaurant in Joshua Tree. Yummy means in season foods and highest quality. No pre made falafel or salad dressing from distributor.

Not bad, but nothing makes it stand out from the many other kabob and Mediterranean restaurants in the area.

Very happy with the food. Two of us ordered the vegetarian entree with lentil soup and everything was great. It came with a side of toum and we ordered a side of tzatziki. The chicken shawarma sandwich was also a huge hit. Was especially impressed with the falafel because it was super crispy on the outside and perfect texture on the inside. Falafel is often hammered/overdone but this was just about perfect. My dad got a Turkish coffee which smelled great and he loved it (cardamom)? The service was wonderful and everyone was very nice.
Kid-friendliness: Seems like a family restaurant where kids would be welcome.

Def hole in the wall. Was in just for a fattoush dressing, which was better than average. Seemed like fair prices with good food from what I seen

After reading the reviews, I was really hoping this place would be good. But it really wasn’t. The food took forever to come. I got the vegetarian plate, my mom got the chicken shawarma sandwich. The grape leaves were pretty decent, but the hummus was soooooo flavorless, and the rice was very meh too. The falafel was ok.In the chicken shawarma sandwich, there was only very little pickle and no garlic butter.Really hoped for more.Definitely will not be back. Also, the staff was quite rude and unpleasant. When we asked it the sandwich came with garlic butter, they rudely said no and acted as if they’d charge for it.Not the greatest experience here sadly. Really hope for more.

Went there for an early dinner with my small family. We were the only ones there and the owner waited on us and prepared our meal, even though there were many take-out orders picked up while we were there. We had salads, grape leaves, chicken kabob, and chicken kafta. We had their house-made lemon-mint drink as well. The food and drink was very tasty and the service was surprisingly good for one person doing everything. For dessert, we had a fresh-made strawberry smoothie, and rice pudding to-go, which were both delicious. The owner chatted with us for a while after we ate and he even gave us a free little bit of his bread dessert that was a recipe passed down through his family. We had a great overall experience. The owner was very respectful and he seemed to be working hard to make his business growth in the area and help out the local community.
