Corner bar fan I am. RUMOR HAS IT they are putting serious serious effort in bringing back Karaoke as well as another pool table and league interest in Darts/Pool. We all know a smaller Corner bar that serves atmosphere and food and cold beer. I don't work there no, I has spent 35 years working in Bar/Club entertainment business and I see some pretty cool stuff, I've seen the personality of the place....it ain't dead and I bet they prove it! Say Hi sometime if you see me there, I LOVE Karaoke.

Almost Cheers is a nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and try to learn everyone's names. The crowd is friendly and willing to converse. They've just started offering food again, though it's all deep-fried, but it's good for what it is. The manager is trying to make everything serviceable and the atmosphere less drab than some may find it currently, so I have good hopes for them for the future.

Love this place. Only one pool table but great people and drinks.
Its ok, could be a bit cheaper, given how the place looks and not very clean at all. The customers are great, bartenders are usually decent.
