Bourbon Street offers quality food with generous portions and great taste! There's something for everyone. My favorite is the Chicken PoBoy. It was enough to have two meals worth. They just started making mac and cheese - make sure you give it a try! It's baked with a great cheese topping and is a great side to whatever dish you choose. Check it out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!
I stopped in this place after discovering it by accident while out shopping. Having roots in Louisiana I’m always interested in a bowl of gumbo. I ordered the 12 oz seafood gumbo and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! It was VERY GOOD. The best gumbo I’ve ordered from a restaurant in Michigan. It was very well seasoned (but not salty), spicy, and loaded with large shrimp, crawfish, chicken and andouille sausages. There was meat in every bite, well worth the $15.85 I paid for it. Gumbo...
He wasn't lying. This gumbo is some of the best I've tasted and I been to different places. I drove from Detroit and it was worth the trip. Chunky not soupy. Spicy hot, but if you don't like spicy, just tell him to hold the heat and get the 16 ounce lol.
