Green Apple Restaurant Dixie Highway

Was looking for a place to take my boys one morning before golf and stumbled upon this place. The corned beef hash is great. My boys had the French toast and said it was amazing! I will have to try it next time.

Great food and service. Prices are exceptional.

There's a group of GMC truck retirees that meets there the first Monday of the month for breakfast. They handle the group which can range from 10 people to 20. Almost everybody orders the special which is a really good deal.

Our go-to when Mom doesn't wanna cook. They have a great menu and prices are fair.

Normally, I only eat breakfast here, and love it. Today, I ordered a Julianne salad to go, and when I got it home and opened it, the lettuce was soggy. Not just damp, but water pooled in the bottom of the container, soggy. Come on, Green Apple...spin, dry and refrigerate that lettuce so it's cold and crisp, not drowning in water. Also, the ranch dressing was not thick and was also like water. Toppings...meat and cheese...we're fresh and abundant, but the soggy lettuce ruined the whole thing, and if someone orders a large salad...put two eggs on there...come on.

We went on 7/4/24. We asked about whether an item has dairy. The server said that she didn't know & was too busy to check. I don't plan to ever go to this restaurant again.

So, I needed a burger. A good burger. An iPhone search nudged me toward the Green Apple, a family-friendly diner. They have a wide menu, with multiple specialty burgers. The Black and Blue burger (Cajun spice and bleu cheese), was amazing, with pickles, crisp lettuce, tomato, and a side car of Mayo. Service was quick and friendly, prices very reasonable. It was actually a great burger - try it out.

I have eaten here so many times, different times of the day and it's been good every time. The fish and chips are really popular here. Good prices, with a different variety and large menu options. It can be difficult to find a parking spot during peak times but that's a good thing!
