This KFC location seriously needs better management. The manager himself took our order, and he couldn’t have been more disingenuous. He opened the conversation with, “It’s going to be a minute,” even though there was literally no one in the drive-thru. The attitude felt miserable and unprofessional from the start.

I even asked him to come to the window to confirm he was actually the manager, and unfortunately, his behavior made it clear why the experience felt so bad. His energy alone ruined the visit.

I’ve never had such a negative interaction at a KFC, and I won’t be returning to this location until they get someone in management who actually cares about customer service.A

I Literally just this past Friday gave this KFC a 10 out of 10 5 Star's for the Food, but I may have just gotten Lucky because today Sunday 11/23/2025 the Chicken is Very Rubbery it Literally Could/Should have been cooked at least 15 too 20 minutes longer!!!!!! And even though Friday and Today there was ONLY One other car Parked,and when I went in there was NO ONE ELSE in line, I was standing in line too order for over 10 minutes, I didn't leave and go somewhere else because they're the only KFC close to me and their Debit/ Credit/ EBT card machine is Always working. I Strongly Suggest that you go through the drive through it was moving faster than my being the ONLY person standing in line inside the store and yes there was Three Workers up front working, he just out right Ignored me for 10 minutes!

Placed order on line followed it on line said it was ready for pick up!!!! Guess what still waiting 15 minutes later and still not ready!!! Not coming to this location again every time this happens !! Horrible experience

I’ve lived In the neighborhood behind this location for almost 35 years and have seen a myriad of employees come and go over that time… We ordered the Taste of KFC 6 piece deal that includes six pieces of chicken, sides of mashed potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese, coleslaw, sweetcorn, and four biscuits. The girl at the window gave me our order and when we went home, we found that she must not have checked that our order was correct because there were no mashed potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese, coleslaw or sweet corn!! Four items in this deal were missing! She really didn’t seem of high intelligence. When I got home and noticed half the order was missing, I called the location, and a girl just told me to come up, which I did. No, I’m sorry or anything! When I went up for the second time, another girl at the window asked what I needed and I told her I was there to pick up all the missing items. The first interesting thing is that I just told her the missing items and she just went to get them. I could’ve said eight pieces of chicken and she probably would’ve got them… she didn’t ask for the order number or reference anything… Not very bright…
When she brought the bag over to the window she just said “here”… No sorry, sorry for the inconvenience, not a thing… Many other places would’ve said so sorry that you had to come back. How about a piece of chicken on the house or something… Not even an apology and rudeness… I retired as a 36 year financial advisor and also retired as the longest standing board member of the Eastern Michigan Better Business Bureau, at 26 years. I would rate the food at this location very good, but the service was terrible… Being a business guy, I hope the franchise owner of this location, realizes how inept some of these employees are…

Horrible customer service. The kids that work at the Waterford on Highland Rd. location are extremely rude, and incompetent. And, definitely should consider finding an even simpler job to maintain… apparently taking orders is too difficult for them. The attitude in there is crazy… the quality of food is horrible. This location definitely needs better management. I can see why it has only 3 stars. Go to the KFC on Dixie and Williams Lake Rd, in Waterford. they are all so sweet in there. Food tastes better also.

Herbalist Nurse Fee

I live close to this KFC location, so when I want a quick family dinner, I think of KFC. I've been here 3 or 4 times and the service and my food is JUST bad. 0/10. Too many complaints, bad customer service and I have had to get a manger involved for refunds. NEVER Again
