Let's start off by saying we have been going here for years. Have not had a bad experience at least not bad enough to mention. This visit was different. We took my parents for their 52nd weeding anniversary on February 29th. 6 adults on a Thursday. Not busy at all. Walked in and were sat immediately. The staff was attentive but clearly being over worked in their opinion. I ordered salad with just lettuce and extra cucumber. When it arrived with 2 slices of cucumber I showed the waitress and asked for extra. She also repeated it back when I originally ordered it. I ate the salad without the extra. When she came back she huffed and glared at me then dropped the bowl of cucumber on the table and walked off. My son and I ordered blackened grilled chicken fettuccine. His was definitely not right. Smelled weird and the chicken was a strange texture. No complaints and when asked for a box he said no thanks. She didn't ask if it was ok or if he wanted something else. This was pretty rude in my opinion. No other acceptions or special requests at our table. We were not rude or demanding. If you don't like the public than don't work in the public. We tipped over 20% and left. We will be back but we will definitely not have her for wait staff again.
I absolutely recommend the Lion's Den! Our dining experience was wonderful and Calvin had everything to do with it. The food is wonderful, and the service is JUST as good. Everything was fresh, hot and served quickly. Will definitely be back!!

We went for our first visit yesterday and we won't be back. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the popcorn was great, but that was the only good part. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed from the beginning. My husband got the Walleye special and was afraid he was going to be sick from it. I got the 'famous' breadsticks and french onion soup, both left a lot to be desired. Nothing worthy of a return visit.

A Waterford tradition, well not that night it wasn't. Waitress seemed new, so i can't totally blame her, but the food was just really not great. We were there for over an hour and a half, and we went just to eat no hanging out. We actually had to get the bill so we could make it to our next plans in time.
Good food, great service. We have eaten here several times a year and their Thanksgiving meal. They seem to keep the quality each and every time. Most restaurants can't do this. Nice job to that team!

Went out to dinner with the family and got a hot roast beef sandwich. Everything came fresh made it to our table very quickly and it was a good experience. Nice atmosphere friendly staff and good food. We had four different tabs at our table and the waitress was more than happy to split the bill for us kudos to her.

Service is outstanding. The host has a very positive disposition and the food was generous and delicious. It's a place we will go to again and again. Their menu is very broad. A great time!
Kim was very nice, it's a very popular local restaurant with great food and good service, they are getting ready for St. Patrick's Day so everyone should get their 4 ? leaf clovers on and go get you some of their holiday specials.
