Since they have changed hands the menu has changed and the food is not as good as it was when it was the original owners. They've taken away the old traditional tacos and their super burrito which was excellent. Does not have the number of different choices, they have a very limited menu compared to the old one. Unless they go back to the old format will not be back.

This used to be our favorite restaurant, but ever since they changed owners, the food’s different our favorites are no longer on the menu. It used to be our go to place. not anymore.

There was an odor , the service was lacking in correct items being served. Not at all inviting.
New ownership, completely changed the menu, chips suck. Will not be going back. Ever.

Tacos were excellent! $2 on Tuesdays.
I've been going to Mexico Lindo for about 16 years. It's my favorite. My family's favorite! Since Mexico Lindo has new ownership, it's just not the same. They've redone the menu, keeping some of the items, like the titanico, but completely changed it. The chips and salsa were my most favorite ever, mixing some green in the red- perfection! They were the standard that all other chips and salsas were judged, and none ever compared! They have different chips and salsa. It was heartbreaking. The server was great. Fast, friendly. The bill was higher than expected. Overall, the food was good, it's just not Mexico Lindo. I was disappointed.
If you've never had Lindo, or weren't a huge fan, you might love this place. Anyone expecting Mexico Lindo goodness should probably just go somewhere else

Walked in and sat down. Saw it was $14 for a margarita. Asked about the lunch specials I have enjoyed for over 30 years. I was told there are new owners and they don’t do lunch specials anymore. I walked out. I will never be back
We ordered 3 chicken enchiladas. The server said they came with a green or a red sauce, but couldn't explain the difference between the two sauces. The enchiladas were dry & tasted stale and microwaved. My Dad's was too spicy for him, possibly due to him choosing the red sauce? He could not eat his enchiladas. My green sauce was not spicy at all. If you are a server and there are two different sauces, you need to know the difference between the two sauces.
The rice was also extremely dry. We also got 2 coffees. This sub-par meal was $48.00.

New owners have ruined it. Awful I won’t be back. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Food was bland, soda was flat, they charge for salsa refills. Service was good. Would not recommend

The restaurant has changed hands recently. What a horrible shame. The food was tasteless with no spice or garlic or chesse or tomatoes. The chips were thick and not crispy and the salsa tasted literally watered down. Crack out the garlic, peppers and salt. Very stingy, cutting way too many corners. I know it's hard these days and places are cutting back but this was a waste of our time and money. We were wondering why the parking lot was empty on a sunday at 5pm. I can make better food and I'm not that great of a cook. We will miss our old go to place. Sorry ladies, we're looking for margaritas elsewhere.

Ii hate Alex’s market, after they bought Mexico lindo, They raised the prices soo much like not gonna pay 16 dollars for 1 taco, and the service was not good, I asked for fresh jalapeños in the caseo and pickled ones in my burrito. Guess what they did, they put fresh jalapeños in my burrito, and pickled ones in my caseo, how does they happen! and also the place was completely empty like there was only 1 other person in the place with us, I wonder why🤔. I have been going here for years and would always visit when I lived out of state and even now will drive from Oak park. NO MORE. it's not the same..new owners think some new menus, paint, and a website mean they can charge twice as much for something different. Read some different business books these current ones are wrong.
