Our family tried Mochi Sushi in Waterford. I was pleasantly surprised as the food was excellent, service was good, portions were large, restaurant was clean and price was reasonable. I would highly recommend it!

Had to wait 30 minutes to order after being seated. Other tables were served before us. Got order wrong and had to have redone. Waitress was unfriendly and pretty much ignored us the whole time. Will never go back.

Feeling disappointed by the service last time i went. My server was completely unprofessional which was a surprise because you would think someone in their 30’s would know how to properly serve a customer. My partner and i felt uncomfortable from the start, very weird vibe and rude stares and rude remarks from the server (lady with blue hair) were made. Please atleast make an attempt at greeting & seating someone when they walk in or ask them if they are dining or to go bc that’s what you are supposed to do here. And no it was not busy she was just standing there in the back staring. Not only did the server have an attitude with everyone the whole time, she didn’t even get the order correct and failed to acknowledge if my partner wanted to order something just left our table before we could get a chance to talk and went to stand somewhere else. You are supposed to be providing a service, no server should be walking around with a serious amount of attitude, giving painfully obvious rude looks, while acting like she owns the place which btw she’s literally new. If you cannot correctly provide a service maybe this isn’t the place for you, because clearly she doesn’t care about putting herself together for a few minutes to wait on customers. She was very sloppy with her work and treated the establishment as if she was making someone else clean up her messes after she left because she clearly did not. If you don’t wanna provide customer service then please go work somewhere where you don’t have to, because you are just making the establishment look bad which is horrible to do to them! I told my friend about this encounter and she also had a major issue with this server the other day when her and her family went. What a surprise. She needs to get a different job if she is not willing to work on her social/service skills! Which based on what i’ve seen and my friend told me about her own experience, i don’t think she would take criticism well. (i don’t want to give mochi sushi a low rating since i like the service i usually get, but the service i received was truly unacceptable)

My brother took us here and said it was their spot. We were from out if town so it was some place new. You want to talk about delicious? This place was it. Sushi, steak, rice, fried veggies...all of it...perfect.

I love this place. During hunting season, I order once a week while the husband is away and I've never been disappointed by the food. The staff is super friendly and it's good to see young people getting experience in the hospitality industry. The servers always have a great attitude and hold it down well when there's a massive rush from what I've seen. The only thing that would bring me even more joy when I come here is if takoyaki was added to the menu. Maybe someday. Definitely give this place a shot

The food is fantastic, we've been coming to Mochi Sushi for a long time. However, the service has gone downhill lately. Tonight, we ordered carry out and waited at the front of the restaurant to be seen by the staff. After 10 minutes, we decided to go to the back and look for our food on the carry out table. We noticed that half of our order was missing from the bag. When we got the staff's attention, we were told that the other half would be made promptly. After another 10 minutes, the two waitresses were talking and we overheard that the other half of our order was not even placed with the kitchen yet. My husband confronted the waitress and asked for a refund. The Manager finally came out of her office and paid us cash for the amount of food missing from our order. It is clear that the two waitresses working tonight do not have any restaurant experience, received the proper training, or even the will to care about customer service. Again, the food is great, but the staff needs to be trained better. We won't continue to order carry out food from this restaurant if this doesn't change.
I LOVE this place. It’s one of the few places I can go and eat confidently (I’m celiac), and I’ve had no issues getting sick or with the service. Our server, Grace, is amazing. We look forward to seeing her whenever we come in, and I hope management recognizes her as a valuable member of this establishment. She deserves a raise 100%.
