We love supporting small businesses when we travel, but be aware - this bakery is out of a persons house and she takes orders only so don’t show up looking for baked goods! Suggest you change your google site information which says you are open today until 4 no mention of orders only and take down the open sign on your porch.

Ive turned into a sourdough snob and glad we found Rising Joy! My boyfriend has refused sourdough treats but I’ve slowly introduced him to them. He tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and asked how much it would cost and when Bethany could have 100 made😂 He doesn’t like muffins yet loved the blueberry.
Hands down best loaf of bread, the taste, the fluff all of it is seriously amazing. She also was able to squeeze me in for a last minute order. 100/10 recommend.

I had the opportunity to attend Bethany’s sourdough bread making class, and it was great from start to finish. I chose the class option that included tools, which was such a helpful addition as I start my sourdough journey at home. Bethany was incredibly well-organized and walked us through each step with clear instructions. She even had different stages of the process ready to show us as an example! She not only made the process feel approachable, but helped build my confidence along the way.
What really stood out was her dedication beyond the class itself - Bethany made herself available via Facebook Messenger for follow-up questions, encouragement, and to share in my excitement after baking my first loaf! I can’t recommend this class enough to anyone interested in diving into the world of sourdough!
