The SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour's latest stop is: Rustic Leaf in Waterford.
I like this place. It sits back off M-59 in a strip mall so you have to look to see the sign. Can't think of how many times I driven past here. 😔
Super friendly staff. Quiet enough that conversations can be held at a normal volume. No half yelling to annoy the wee lads & lassies. Half the parties here have munchkins with them. Music is in the background where it belongs. Very family-friendly.
Decor is great. Tables are a mix of high-top & low. There's a 'living room' area, a big couch & a double recliner.
And considering it is dinner time, the fact that there is a food truck - okay, it's really a trailer - out front means dinner is served. The Rustic Kitchen is open Wed - Thu from 5:30 - 9 pm, Fri Sat from 5 - 9 pm.
Sliders in many variations, poutine, tots, et cetera are available for your noshing needs. Credit only at the 'truck'.
The beer is wonderful. Don't forget to see what is on the side tap, it might be a tasty English IPA made with Earl Grey tea, a TeaPA. Not a real style. Yet.

Went for Thursday night trivia. Had a great time.

Amazing ownership and employees. Beer and cider is awesome. Food truck Food is awesome.. think old school sliders. YUM!

PS the review from Mark Rudd is irrelevant. I was here then and he is absolutely incorrect. Yes, we were all watching TV but, he and his partner were indecisive and the beertender was HAPPY to offer a flight (in fact it is better for the business honestly). So, disregard his post completely.

Stripmall location which makes for an excellent parking experience. It's nice inside, plenty of room. The staff were watching TV when we walked in and seemed bothered by our arrival. When I told the bartender I wanted a flight, she seemed like she was bummed out. I tried 4 beers all were what I would consider average, nothing stood out as being really good and likewise nothing was really bad. It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

TLDR; if you want a beer and good food just come here dont look further its my favorite in this area by a long shot. Fantastic people, food, beer

I have been coming here for 2 years now and my time comes to an end at this bar soon sadly due to a move.
The beer, the food, and the crew that works here is nothing short of fantastic. I am moving shortly here and it is one of my sadder of realizations that it might be my last beer here for awhile.

Thanks to the entire crew for giving me one of my favorite spaces to bring friends to game, read, or even finish up some work that needs a beer to be tolerable.

First time last night and won't be the last! Great atmosphere, we were greeted right away, drinks were delicious and so was the food. Looking forward to coming back soon!

All the beer was exceptional as was the service! We will surely be back.

The manager Zared was very informative on everything they offered. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming.

First time! I came here last night because restaurants week. The drink they have is amazing flavor and good service here. I love how they treat us in the restroom, all smell so good. LOVE IT

Cute establishment. Everyone is friendly. The place is very clean. Did the line dancing class out on by Jenergy. So much fun!!
