However *NOT cleanily* they often have a younger group of girls working here and let me just say- after the last takeout here I will neeeeever come back! The OAK PARK LOCATION IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! Not sure exactly how they roll their rolls but lord, the amount of fuzzies I found all over both my rolls was not even believable, ironically one of the rolls was not actually made correctly so I called and let them know, they told me to come back so I did, thinking okay this one will be made correctly + surely won’t have fuzzies all over it. I was wrong ): imagine that. Going to take a bite of your sushi roll just for fuzzy pieces of either a towel, garment, hat, etc- all over your food? QC needs to be implemented ASAP!!

The atmosphere was very nice. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and it was very good and a nice size. I also ordered shrimp fried rice. The rice was rather bland which is why the rating is lower. They are top notch! They make the best baked Avacado I have ever eaten. Tried many places. These guys are the best!!! ALL their locations, great freshly prepared masterpieces. I drive 25 miles to get to the Ferndale/Oak Park and the Pontiac/Highland Road locations. ALL their food is delicious!!! I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the baked avacado!!! My FAVORITE! It’s so rich, it’s hard to eat both halves. Sometimes I’ll eat half and save the other half for my work lunch. You have to be super hungry to eat both halves of that giant beautiful baked avacado. Can you tell which item is my favorite? I also recommend the Ferndale Roll. They will even make your sushi with brown rice instead of white rice. I love them.

I stopped in my first time last night and had a great experience. Pad Thai was very good with some good heat ?.Very nice customer service experience with my 2 little boys and they even let us sample a Japanese soda while we waited. Would recommend!

A mediocre place to be honest. The food that I ordered had no love or flavor in it. Spring rolls are not good. The miso soup is definitely not home made. Nothing felt authentic. You also have to pay for water.

I love sushi, and my boyfriend and I wanted to try this place out after reading reviews of people saying they love the sushi from here. We ordered about 4 rolls. The flavor was incredibly bland or bad. Even the simple shrimp tempura roll was bad. The pieces fell apart as soon as I tried to pick them up. My boyfriend and I each tried one piece from each roll, and that’s all we could stand to eat. My stomach started to hurt after we ate there. If you are looking for good sushi, I do not recommend this place. There are definitely way better sushi places around. Tokyo Sushi in Auburn hills, and Take Sushi in Rochester Hills are both amazing sushi places with fair prices. Sushi Kafe in Rochester is also very good just a little more pricey. I will not waste my money here again.
