My favorite Tubby's location! Really friendly staff, which is nice to come by lately. Very clean inside. Quality subs, soft fresh bread, and great portion sizes for the price compared to nearby competitors. Our favorite subs are the basic cold turkey & cheese, and the hot chicken & cheddar! Yum!

I usually eat at this location at least once every two weeks for the past several years and I'm usually quite satisfied however I don't think I'll be going back. today I went and bought a 12 inch steak sub and Mac and cheese bites. First mac and cheese bite I ate had a huge hair attached to it and I had to physically pull this several inch long piece of hair out of the bite I was eating. Then I decide to open up the sub and check and it's full of these hairs (I pulled out probably 5 before I threw it away). Extremely patient with these guys and always supporting them but I am extremely dissatisfied and disgusted. I called them and was going to address this issue personally but I wasn't in the mood to wait on hold after waiting so long for my food in the first place. Don't even bother

I paid something like 10 bucks for a 12 inch sub. Mostly bread, and it was dry. There was about 1 oz of meat and cheese. There are pictures of subs all over the walls in there that look wayyyyyy better than what I ate. It just adds insult to injury.

Food was piping hot and freaking awesome! I would take a picture but I ate all of it. An empty bag wouldn't do justice. I'll make sure I take a picture next time. I got a steak and cheese sub minus the cheese and tomato added sauteed green pepper and a side of fresh succulent chicken tenders. Way better than Subway!!

It had been over a decade and a half since I have had a Tubby's and we missed that nostalgic taste from long ago and wanted the kids to try it. They still have all of the favorites. We had a chicken and broccoli, chicken cheddar ranch, and burger pizza sub. We had the bread grilled as well. It was pretty good. One kid really liked it and would like more, one preferred the other sub shops in the area. I enjoyed it. It brought back some memories. It was a bit pricey for what we got and they were a bit skimpy with the filling. Next time I will ask for more cheddar and more ranch or a side of ranch. The shop is a bit run down, but the individuals working inside seemed friendly and were working hard to get out all of the orders. They seemed to have a steady stream of customers which is always a good sign.

I've been going to Tubbys since they opened in the late 60's... now as a west side to offend go to Tubby's in Waterford- sane great subs!
I always make a stop at Tubby's when I visit Michigan. They have the best submarine sandwiches out there. Great service, great food. Their signature Tubby sauce is delicious. Pair that with a simple grilled ham and cheese sandwich, some breaded mushrooms, and your day just got 110% better. Only downside - NOT available outside Michigan.

We Bought 2 12in cheeseburger Italiano, the meat was under cooked. My son, wife and I felt sick to our stomach half hour after eating, NOT GOOD. We've always bought from thus place and never had a problem till now, it will take us a while before we go back.
