One of two Mexican eateries in a 20 mile area that are my family's go to. The staff is always so sweet. The food is very filling. Come in on a Wednesday for the Wet Burrito Wednesday discount (which is also my favorite entrée as well). Their green salsa (Verde) is deliciously hot. Oh, and don't forget dessert. Sweet Chimi is stuffed with a type of cheesecake and served with ice cream.
What a fantastic authentic and locally owned restaurant. We ordered steak quesadillas, a chicken bowl, along with with a side of guacamole. The food is so so so good, all of it! The service is also great; there were several young people staffed which makes me think its possibly family owned and operated & they were working hard, very attentive and polite. I was very impressed & highly recommend this place!
4 of us tried this place for our 1st time this weekend. One got tacos, another dry burrito, the 3rd person got their enchiladas, and 4th got their gorditas. All 4 of us absolutely loved the food, scraping the plates clean. Food was a 5/5. Restaurant is small only a few tables, single sheet paper menu, cardboard boxes of cups stacked up next to register. No alcoholic drinks available. Even with the lack of amenities, give this place a 5/5 stars due to the high quality food. Bravo!
