Stopped in escanaba at the beginning of a long road trip and tried out Solberg’s. Delicious Friday fish fry, lots of people so we sat at the bar. Amazing beer list, great wines by the 1/2 bottle so very fresh, bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. Matty the trainee is doing great, and Amber who is training her made the best Ketel One martini I’ve had north of the mackinaw bridge. There was another young lady behind the bar, a manager, who never walked by with an empty...
My first time here and I will definitely be back. The fish tacos were the best I have ever had. The waitresses were friendly and checking in often to see if we needed anything. And the menu had plenty of options. Thanks for an amazing visit!
One part looks like a new bar in a gentrified area and the other looks like someone's hunting camp. If you want a $18 (+-2) burger that the locals say is great and a "yyyyuge" selection of on tap beers this is the place for you!
