Food is always amazing , drinks EXCELLENT. The drop is a favorite here as well but the drinks overall are really good ! The Alex salad is perfect size ! And the filet mignon is absolutely amazing ! Even the kid portions are huge ! Def check them out !

Gavin was our server. His customer service, attentiveness, and knowledge was top notch. The food was excellent and we were sat down immediately upon arrival. The hostesses greeted us when we came in and with smiles. It's a good feeling to ask for a Manger to give a compliment oppose to a complaint.

Every aspect was absolutely wonderful. I had the mr jack chicken platter with fries and mac, I somehow ate the entire thing and I enjoyed every bite.

JA have a bar area but will not serve you unless you sitting at it. Ridiculous!!! The other sitting areas at the bar is now only for waiting on the bar. I never seen anything like it in West Bloomfield, MI. Most bars serve all patrons… not these people.??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️I miss my old bartenders. This set up is dumb as hell.

This place is very busy on the weekend ! but there is no control in there what so ever it was a chaos on Saturday 03/09/2024 2 tables were so loud with their behavior in every which way uncontrollable had no consideration for the people around them and it was Constant with no brakes to the point that we couldn’t hear each other talking very uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to leave as fast as we can we mentioned it to the manager she agreed, but they didn’t do nothing about it !! not going to that location anymore. There is no control in that restaurant.

The J Alexanders in West Bloomfield MI was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We had reservations and decided to go 1/2 hour early to get a drink at the bar, only to be told we would not be served drinks unless we we actually seated at the bar! And there were no seats! What???? Yes, you coud not get a drink unless we were seated!!! We were told that too many people didn't pay so they had that policy??? I have always given my card at order to prevent this. We left and will NEVER go back!!! Never had this experience at the the Northville location nor any other restruant I have ever been at.

Menu is basically burgers steak or seafood… $19 for a basic burger. Got the filet, had to ask for garlic butter 4x, steak was medium rare and undercooked. Sent it back, came back charred and well done, unable to eat: Drinks were not good, sent them back. Potatoes were very starchy w little flavor. Overall Blackrock had better food. $195 bill and left very disappointed. Atmosphere nothing special.

Miracle waited on us and was such a delight! We both enjoyed the atmosphere and our dinners. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. The employees seemed so happy which enhanced our great dining experience. We will definitely be back!!
My second visit to this restaurant with my colleagues. Love the atmosphere and every bite of my order of rotisserie chicken was delicious . Also loved the carrot cake

Just leaving this restaurant after a fantastic dinner. Even better than the food, our server, Jazzmyn, was excellent!!!! She was all smiles and just downright pleasant during our dinner. Highly recommend the food. Ask for Jazzmyn!!

Bryan was our server. He was professional and kept our used dishes picked up (so many restaurants don't do that). He was most attentive. He is an asset to the restaurant. Our dinner was amazing and Bryan made it so. I had the salmon, my favorite and aaron had the cajun trout. It was the best!! We will be back soon!

We love the upscale atmosphere at J's! With our recent visit I was so happy to see our favorite waiter Max working here again. He is so pleasant, knows the menu, and always makes sure we are treated with the best service. If you're coming here I suggest you ask for him, service doesn't come any better than this guy! Thanks Max for always being so friendly, professional and respectful to the guests you serve! I also suggest any one of their dessert’s, sizes are big enough to share. Salmon is fair priced for the taste and size also.
