Over the years I have eaten at J Alexander’s and have watched the food portions and quality of the food diminish. I ordered the Alexander salad with salmon. This entree has been my go to selection however it will not continue. The salad amount including the toppings keeps getting smaller and smaller. The salmon filet has also gotten smaller. It barely fills me. Prices have increased and portions across the board have decreased. Service was fair. I probably won’t...

I’m not sure what this young woman’s name was who served us last night, but she deserves every good thing coming her way. ❤

She was a little taller than average, thin, with black curly hair pulled up in a bun. The food was amazing, but honestly, even if it wasn’t, she alone would have made our experience worth it.

The food at J. Alexander’s is always great, and the portions are HUGE! I usually eat only half of my meal while dining and still manage to get two more meals out of what I take home.

The shrimp appetizer is FIRE! 🔥 And don’t sleep on the slaw underneath it—it’s delicious and definitely not just there for show.
