My favorite Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Wow, I’m so glad I tried it! The teriyaki chicken was delicious. I loved the tempura udon, it was fantastic! Very cozy interior, reasonably priced, great service. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Great Izakaya dinner right near sharaku...fun place.
Always my to go place most weekend. The staff are nice, food is authentic. The ambience is reminiscent of Japan

Kitchen Hanzo offers some of the most authentic Japanese cuisine in the area. The restaurant has recently reopened and, while there are minor issues with the food, it remains a hidden gem worth exploring. The new, thicker version of the pancake is doughier than the okonomiyaki it replaced, while the sliced beef was superb. The smelt, however, did not taste fresh. The service is warm, attentive, and excellent, creating a friendly and polite atmosphere. The wine and sake pricing is quite high compared to the food menu, but Kitchen Hanzo still provides delicious izakaya food with a variety of menu options that are simple yet complex and rich. The ambiance is perfect for any food adventure, and despite being open only three days a week, it is highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.
