The guy at the register immediately disappeared inside when I came in, and left me wondering for 5 min if anyone was going to help. Then a lady comes out. I called my wife to ask her how many pieces she wanted… the lady goes: “I am going in, when you need me just ring me up”. 30 sec later I rang her out and asked for 2 boxes. She informed me that they were not ready and she would need to make them. I asked her how long it would take... at the moment two other customers came in. She replied: “I have to take the customer behind you”. I said: “and am I not a customer? I am just asking how long it would take to make it so I know when to come back!” She reluctantly answered:”20 min” and started talking to the customer behind me as if I didn’t matter. Will not return. Would not recommend

Ruined my birthday by making the frosting on my cake with cristco. They ignored my text and left me on ‘read’ and then said they never heard from me. There wasn’t one teaspoon of sugar in the frosting on my cake. The writing on the cake was also sloppy. I’m not sure how they’re still in business. It seems maybe some cakes they put in a little effort and others are rushed. My husband paid $150 for a disgusting heart shaped cake. I also think many of their reviews on here are from family and friends of theirs.

I specifically requested a lemon-flavored cake that was not too sweet, with simple yellow decorations and "Happy Birthday" written on top. I also sent a photo for reference. I did not request any flowers on the cake.
When I picked up the cake, it was not yellow and did not have the "Happy Birthday" message with real roses. Instead of an apology, I was told that I should have checked the cake before the pickup date, which I was never informed of beforehand. Additionally, the staff member could not locate the record indicating that the cake was supposed to be yellow. What does it mean? I had provided all the necessary details, including a reference photo, my cell phone number, and email address. I believe it would have been appropriate to contact me if there were any questions about my order.
Although someone attempted to fix the cake in the store, the overall experience and the synthetic taste of the cake were unsatisfactory. I do not feel that the cake was worth the $80 I paid.

We've used them multiple times for birthdays cakes. They're 1 hour away from our home and we always make time to get out celebratory treats and cakes from Lily's. All of our friends and family look forward to our birthday cakes now! So kind, always ready on time, with perfection. 100% recommend.

We ordered our wedding cake from Lily Sweets and it turned out exactly how my wife wanted and tasted amazing! We were very happy with the cake. We also order cakes for birthdays and other family occasions all the time and they have always looked and tasted so good! Highly recommend them for any occasion!

I like to support neighborhood establishments, so I made a u-turn when I drove by. Thought I’d buy some desserts for a large holiday dinner. Unfortunately, when I walked in I was not greeted. The male talked on the phone and did not greet or assist me. Go to Shatila’a around the corner on Maple. They greeted me several times, was very helpful, and professional. I’d prefer to spend a couple hundred on holiday baked goods where my patronage & money is appreciated.

We came to buy a ready cake, but they didn’t have the size that we needed so they suggested that they would make us a cake. They made the cake on time in the span of two hours and it was delicious. A special thanks to Obida, his customer service was amazing. We highly recommend this bakery.
