Very disappointed with this bakery. We were looking for a specific type of cake for my birthday. The person taking the order said they were able to do it. When opening the box at home they did not make the cake we were looking for. They said that is how they make it.If your are not able to make a cake the customer is looking for just say no to the order.

Wandered into this Mediterranean desert shop after dinner, and it made the night. Ordered the oreo cake and a small fruit desert. Both were so good. Not too sweet. and the best part is the value. The oreo cake was ... $3.00. The fruit desseet was $1.50. You don't see those prices anymore. We were both so full but otherwise would have tried the fruit cake. It was about $26 for a small and $36 for a large. Apparently, fruit is not just on top but FILLED inside with cream and goodness. Sounded so good and will probably buy it and update this review in the future. It is a small local business and the owner, mostly Turkish and Arabic speaking, was very nice and cordial. The place is less than 2 years old. Not super fancy inside. Not the widest selection but honestly I would try everything - canoli, cakes, baklava - given the fair price point. We will be back for sure.

Decadent homemade Middle Eastern desserts. They have a huge variety. I will certainly be back to try more.What I love most is how balanced the sweetness was in everything I tried. Nothing was overpowering... everything complimented each other perfectly.You simply must stop by!!

Very unprofessional. If you need a dependable order for an event like us do not go with this business. If you just want to pick up cookies fine. But if you need somebody you can count on don't go to them.We ordered a cake for a special occasion. We ordered it a week in advance in person. When we came to pick it up the day before the event they told us they had no order for us. They when we told them that we placed the order they said they had no idea what we were talking about then the lady changed her mind and says oh actually no you're right I think you did order a cake and then you never came to pick it up last week - we thought you wanted to be ready last week. We had left her our phone number when we ordered the cake. So if they were confused about the date they should have called us when they had the cake ready. They did not call us. So this lady proceeded to gaslight me and tried to convince me that we had never placed the order even though I know we did. It was very unprofessional and not the proper way to respond to a customer when you make a mistake. Then she asked me who I placed the order with and I said it was with a younger gentleman and she starts saying oh yeah I can't trust these younger guys working for us so once again she's did not take the blame. It was extremely unprofessional. She was very defensive the whole time she did not want to help me figure out a way to get the cake that I ordered for the event. I understand that mistakes happen. But when I asked to see the receipt from our order she said that they don't keep receipts for cakes when it's been more than a week since that order was placed. That doesn't even make sense. Why would you not keep track for your business? I highly recommend if you need a dependable order for an event do not go with this business. If you just want to pick up cookies fine. But if you need somebody you can count on don't go to them.

This place is horrible! I ordered a birthday cake and gave them a picture, they couldn't even do it correctly. The top was supposed to have chocolate covered strawberries, they left some plain and the rest barely had chocolate, looked horrifc. Poor quality..the cake breaks when you put in the candles. The taste was average. The staff was not helpful in resolving the issues.

Pathetic and horrible customer satisfaction experience.We placed customized Birthday cake 5 days a go for our grandson . also called them and confirmed the order day before the pickup day.We surprised to know before an hour our party the cake is not available, even they didn’t find our order.Disappointed and feeling regret to place the order.The guys on the counter is not realizing our frustration, simply replied with a sorry and waiting for next customer in the line.Cakes are supposed to be a happy food. Their bad attitude ruin the experience. Never having your cakes again. Worst service I’ve ever encountered in my entire life.

First time: walked in, to get a slice of cake and asked us to order in advance (for single slice of cake)2nd time: went to west Bloomfield branch, same thing, all they have available to buy over the counter was baklava.3rd time: ( decided to gave them a 3rd chance, since reviews were good about their cakes) ordered a birthday cake for my son, lady confirmed the order and took all the details.On the day of pick up, the guy at the store told us that they don't have our order.You cannot run a bussiness like that. What kind of bussiness model is that, which is based on the convenience of f the owner and not consumer driven.

Absolutely terrible customer service and horrible attitude, I ordered a vegan cake (eggless) and specified 5 different times before I ordered it AND picked it up that it MUST be dairy-free and nut-free due to an allergy. They were negligent and confirmed all 5 times that the cake was dairy free when it indeed was NOT. My friend had an allergic reaction to the custard and when I called back, 1 person was kind enough to take my number, take the cake back and supposedly the owner was supposed to call me and give me a refund. The owner never called so I called back and they claim that I never said dairy free, when I called 5 times and asked before paying that its dairy free and eggless and they confirmed it was every single time. They don’t understand what “deathly allergic” means. Never coming back here ever again.
