I've only been here a couple times because I am not usually in this area but our friends who live near here recommended it for a game night and we liked it so much we decided to go back! The staff is nice and everything was delicious!! The torched roll (ichiban I believe? It is called number one for a reason lol) we got was especially good but I also enjoyed the crunchy and salmon roll.
A bit disappointed as this was my go-to for high quality, fresh sushi and the BEST bi-bim-bop for 2 decades! I recently dined in with my dad and sister and was very disappointed. The sushi was very meh. Salmon sashimi had fatty parts that were stringy and just sad looking. The rolls were way too mayonnaise-y and lacked flavor. The Bi Bim Bop was pretty good, but def not how i remember—it used to be loaded with fresh, vibrant veggies. This time it was mostly chopped meat...
Fabulous spot! Had a great lunch. Clean, fresh, good service and great atmosphere. And it good to walk into a spot for lunch and see lots of people there, taking their time and enjoying their meal.
