I wanted to love it but it's dry. The chicken was dry, the veggies were dry, the sushi was dry, even the sake was dry lol. It's not amazing but it's not bad. Id personally go elsewhere but if you're in the area it's not a bad eat.

This was our first time here and we drove quite a distance on the recommendation of my son's Japanese teacher.
We got lunch specials. Tonkatsu donburi with cold soba noodles for my son and the lunch set of shrimp and vegetable tempura for me.
I love that hot tea was included in the meal and we also got cold water.
My whole family has been studying Japanese for quite a while and we love sitting surrounded by people who are speaking Japanese. We don't catch everything but we always learn something.

Best sushi in Michigan served by Japanese staff who know good fish. The price is not cheap, but if you want the real thing, this is it. Note that this is Japanese style sushi, which is simpler with more subtle flavor than American style sushi, which often has strong sauces added.

Great experience. The initial service is friendly and bilingual (Japanese/English). The atmosphere is very welcoming and varied, with counter options, tables and even more private spaces. The meal is prepared with fresh ingredients and tastes great. The tea served as soon as we sit down, in addition to helping to refresh the palate and enhance the flavor of the food, conveys the dedication and hospitality of the entire team. The price is affordable, like it could be part of our weekly routine. I will definitely be back. I recommend it.

Very authentic Japanese cuisine. All the orders were very fresh and delicious. With cold beer, and couple of highball, we finished the dishes in no time. Price might be little high for the portion, but the quality is very good. Would recommend.
