If you cant make it to Seoul- Soora is a good alternative. Excellent food with good portion sizes. Friendly and quick service in a relaxed low-key atmosphere, with all the patrons enjoying themselves. . A worthy successor to China King -which was a local institution.

The staff were very nice, and the older lady running the place was especially funny and friendly!! We ordered the two combo meals with galbi and cold noodles and makerel and soondubu. Both meals were delicious, I especially enjoyed the cold noodles! Perfect for a hot day 😋

Food was decent. Our original server barely checked on us(like never got refills on the water even) and an older lady ended up taking over. She was very nice but we were already finishing up with our meal. I got the goat hot pot. The meat itself was delicious but it packed the punch of flavor I was hoping for. My wife ordered the japchae which was decent but was 90% noodles with like three bites of beef.
