Every time we travel through West Branch, we hit this restaurant. We enjoy the little shopping, the atmosphere, and the food. Burgers are great, the home made chips are so much better than any store bought. This visit was at the attached hotel and we did dinner here. Great little set up. The hotel and adjacent gas station all connect.
Great midway stop on your travels through the state. Easy on/off the expressway.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and chips and my husband had the fish sandwich and fries they were both very good. Beth was the waitress and she was very nice and did an amazing job. The cost of the food for the two of us was reasonable. I was surprised to see they were not busier. I would recommend this place to my friends as a place to stop if passing through. Glad we stopped on our way through. Will definitely be back. They have a gift shop to look at while waiting for your food as well.

Some food items were absolutely incredible and others were subpar. The pickle spears were amazing, the Alaskan cod and the 5 onion soup were all really good. The rueben and chicken caesar wrap were OK, and the burger was not good at all. I could not find a cocktail menu, only beer and wine, so that was disappointing. The booths were not comfortable at all, but the overall aesthetic made me feel like I was in a cabin in the woods. The little store with cute items for sale is a nice touch.. kind of reminded me of Cracker Barrel In a way. Our waiter was good at his job (kept the table clear and drinks full, checked in once or twice once we had our food), but seemed like he didn't want to be there, i get everyone has a bad day so that could have been it... I was not entirely impressed or let down.

We just had lunch. It was amazing. I had a Ruben sandwich and my husband had Ribeye steak. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

Melissa our server was very friendly and made us feel immediately at home. The food-OMG-fabulous. I had fish and chips which were well done but not burnt. They were delicious and crunchy and no soft, yucky spots. The coleslaw was really good. There was a hint of dill and that made it even better. My husband had the hot beef sandwich. It was very good according to him. Beef was tender. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends!
