We went to this restaurant to meet friends that came in from Florida. The atmosphere was fine. The drinks were good and the service was exceptional. We had dessert and it was excellent. The problem was the entree. We ordered the mahi mahi and it was inedible. I like good food and so does my husband and we don’t consider ourselves terribly picky but we both agreed it was the worst meal we ever had eating out. The tostones were cold and stale. The fish was very dry with zero flavor...

Sandy Point Beach House is located in West Olive, MI. This building housed a few different restaurants over the years but was reopened in 2013 as Sandy Point Beach house. It is near (but not on) Pigeon Lake. They specialize in New American and Seafood dishes.

The atmosphere is pretty cool. Has kind of a beach house vibe, but without the lake. We were disappointed to find out they were not on the lake. This was our whole reason for going here. We had seen online...

Everything about dinner this evening at Sandy Point Beach House was outstanding! Three of us had salmon, one had the whitefish and one had a burger and everyone loved their meal. Two had dessert which are all prepared on-site by their own pastry chef. The tiramisu was pronounced “best ever” and the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!
