Consistently fresh, tasty Chinese food with a solid variety on the menu — China Star in Westland does it right. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel like a regular from day one. If you’re looking for a reliable, quality Chinese restaurant in the area, this is the one.

Not gonna bother with the photos, intention isn’t to trash them. But I was super disappointed in my meal.

The sauce for the crab Rangoon was spilled inside the box. Coating every single piece. The lid was melted to bits in my food. So plastics all over the Rangoon, leaving it inedible.

Sweet and sour was spilled all over the inside of the bags. Very messy to open.

Quality of the food just isn’t there anymore. If it was,...

I miss this restaurant so much. I live in Northern Michigan “Gaylord” to be exact. I LOVE this restaurant. Each and every time I come down I make it a point to come to this exact location. I grew up down the street a from this establishment. From the ambience music etc servers. I have a Chinese buffet “Jade” but nothing touches those restaurants elegance.
