Updating for 2025. Haven't been here in years, but decided to give it another try today. Big mistake. Still a bad location with employees that don't care. Most of the things we wanted to order were out of stock. The things we actually ordered were not good. In the trash, inedible. They forgot the macaroni, and it was cold when we got it. Forgot our pop and it just ended up tasting like carbonation anyway. They didn't have sauces for the tenders, nor did they have utensils or napkins The tenders were cold. The other chicken we got was both wet and dry at the same time. So wet with grease it soaked through the box, and yet the meat was dry. Absolutely horrible, I don't actually understand how this location is this bad, but now I remember why I avoid it.
Original review from 2021: Half the chicken, for full price. They somehow forgot half our order, when it wasn't even a big order. They never give me the extra pickles I order and pay for. Also, I ordered mild chicken for my kids and it was spicy. They couldn't eat it. The employees here just dgaf. Horrible.

I was highly upset when I found out my husband went to this location because it's a constant disappointment! Tell me how on earth do you wait in line for an hour and receive this old, burnt, and completely inedible chicken! They really ought to be ashamed of themselves for taking our money and serving this crap! This location should be shut down and I am the one to write letters!

Customer service was excellent. The inside was it was clean and the food was awesome. Wonderful a lot better than the Popeyes and ipsy on Ellsworth. I live in Essie and I had to drive all the way to Westland to get some good decent Popeyes sandwich. Thank you so much Westland for being a wonderful Popeyes store that you are

Not very clean. Took 30 minutes to get my order. Said they didn't have chicken sandwiches even though they did. Paid for a meal but didn't get one.
1. The entire place was filled with smoke. 2. My order wasn’t ready until a half hour after my pickup time. 3. They didn’t have the sides that were ordered. 4. Everyone must’ve been on pain killers or something because they were literally moving in slow motion. 5. When I tried my fries I realized the smoke I had been standing in was coming from the fryers because the fries tasted like burnt oil. 6. Every single piece of chicken in my order was raw or undercooked. Sandwiches and kids meal. 7. My sauces were wrong or missing.
NEVER. AGAIN.
Now I’m sitting here hoping I don’t get food poising. A complete waste of time and money.

I had a horrible experience tonight at the Livonia store. We took our gift card that Livonia would not take and spent it here. Thank you and will go to Garden City popeyes for now on.
