It's a nice rusticish setting with a touch of the modern and hometown charm. Honestly it looks like the ideal of what a modern small town restaurant/bar would look like in a movie or series.
The Burgers are very good, and reasonably priced. I also recommend you try their pickle chips.
The service was great. There weren't a lot of people there at the time but I did get the idea that the server was happy to be there, and that means a lot.

Ate here for the first time today and discovered why it has such amazing ratings! The atmosphere is warm and cozy with a wood stove in the corner. My husband ordered a stout draft beer and also ordered the cod basket. I had a burger. Both entrees were mouthwatering delicious!! We highly recommend trying this place out. We will be back. Also..service was awesome too!

We hadn't been there since the menu change. And we went there for my son-in-law's birthday. The food was okay. We got our food and then the server never came back until we were done. We were asked about dessert. We declined after discussion. About 10/15 minutes later we got a dessert that we didn't order. The server came back and said it was a funny story. The dessert was supposed to go to another table but we got it instead. She said she had to charge us for the dessert! The dessert was $9! Again we didn't order the dessert. It was their mistake not ours. I paid it but not happy.

Found this for a meeting place in mid-Michigan and loved it. We had a burger, Ruben, and cheesesteak and all three were great. If it were close to home we'd become regulars. Will be a go-to meeting spot for 4 years of my son's college 😊
