Country Table Restaurant

My husband and I have been coming here from Indiana to eat for years. Although the food is good and the waitresses are kind the prices are pretty high. And on 06/22/25. We were OVERCHARGED and refused to be given a reciept. My husband ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with potatoes and a black coffee, I had a bacon skillet and a tea. Our bill was over $50!! We've ordered this exact same thing before and our bill wasnt even close to that!!! We wont be returning. And for the cashier not wanting to give us a reciept made us believe that she knew that we were overcharged. I dont expect to get a response from the manager/ owner but they lost at least 2 loyal customers as weve eaten there with family as well. BE ALERT AND CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS!!! We live on a limited income and if they will charge us over $50 that should have been alot less than that they will overcharge you as well!!!

Quaint little restaurant nestled in the heart of White Pigeon, MI. Friendly service and great food. They're pretty popular but worth the wait.

Always a go-to for us! Just a short drive from Three Rivers, we visit regularly. Whether we go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we've never had a bad meal.

We enjoyed our breakfast. There are lots of options to choose from on the menu. I had a mini skillet, which was just right. We liked the biscuits and gravy as well. Our server was friendly and attentive without hovering.

This was probably our 4th trip here but our first for breakfast. We haven't had a meal we didn't enjoy yet.

What a delightful find. On our drive from southeastern PA to Chicago, we found ourselves on the interstate with what seemed like very few options for dinner. A search for "food near me" yielded the Country Table Restaurant. The food was great, the service was attentive but not overbearing, and the prices were very reasonable. We got back in our car for the final leg of our journey with happy tummies and leftovers for the morning. We may very well return in two days on our way back to PA!

Dietary restrictions: Very grateful the menu is diabetic friendly! I had mushroom chicken, which was a lovely thinly cut chicken breast grilled and topped with sautéed mushrooms and cheese. The meal comes with a side of your choice of potato (I had a baked potato and ate about 1/2 of it) and vegetables, which were carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. I was thrilled by the mixed vegetables - so often they include peas and corn, which are just more starch, but these were wonderful! No starchy veggies. And they were fresh, and cooked with a little chicken bullion so they tasted just a little bit like they had been in a chicken soup. Oh, and there is a choice of starter, too! Either a tossed salad or soup. I chose soup, and it was a flavorful but mild chili that was wonderful.

Our favorite breakfast place in the area. They like most all restaurants these days seem a little under staffed, but the yummy Country Table skillet easily makes up for that.
