The service was good, food however was not up to standards. We had the French Dip with onion rings. Also started with beer cheese & bread. Everything tasted as if it was basted in old grease. The aujus was watered down without any beef flavor. The sandwich and onion rings had a 'film' on it for lack of better words. We did mention to our waitress but nothing ever came of it. I have left it to another in my group to follow up since I am from out of town.

Nice atmosphere and deck. The red meat eaters in my family enjoyed their meals: steak, prime rib, and a burger. My walleye however was an abomination. I got excited when I saw pecan crusted on their special board. It came to me deep fried i think?!? Or very heavily greased and fried in a pan maybe it sure. I've had pecan crusted walleye before and it is absolutely never heavily fried like that. You don't do that to pecan crusted and you don't desecrate walleye that way. I also found bacon to be on nearly every sandwich and salad on the menu. While you can order without, it's already built into the price. I asked for my loaded baked potato to have extra cheese instead of the bacon. The waitress said yes, but my potato did not in fact have any extra cheese. Had they just said no, I would have gotten the bacon on the side and taken it home for my dogs.

View was great. Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow, we only saw our server only a few times throughout the entire meal. Took about 15-20 minutes before we were greeted by our server. Our two dishes came out after about 30 minutes and my steak was charred on one side and over done. Server was nice but it seemed like they were all spread too thin between the dining room and deck instead of having 1-2 designated patio servers.

I was by myself and I asked to sit where I could see the river. The girl sat me at a table with 4 places. They weren't busy, it was a very hot Sunday afternoon at 4:00. Only 3 of the back tables had people at them. She seated me in the back. There were 5 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 8 back there. Along the window where I wanted to sit, was a table for 4. I asked if I could sit over there. She went and asked. When she came back, (I stood waiting), she said no. They had to be fair to the waitresses. So to see the river I had to look past the people beside me to see out the window. They probably thought I was staring at them. I couldn't even see the river. The prices were much higher than what I had remembered from a few years before. So, I ordered a chef salad and 2 drinks. As far as the food, I saw some and it and it all looked really good. My waitress was very nice. As for the empty table, it remained empty the entire time.

We have been wanting to eat here for some time. We finally had a chance to last night. We got there about 8 pm. We got a great seat on the patio, we enjoyed the scenery but it would have been nice to been waited on and at least got a drink after being seated. 20 minutes after from time arrival we finally got a waitress over. She was not very bubbly she seemed annoyed. I know it was at the end of day but that's not a way to earn your tip. The food was alright not what I expected for the price. Even desert of cheesecake being $15.38 for 2 slices of normal cut slice. Maybe next time I will try something different and see how it goes.

Driving by and decided to stop in. No wait for seating but it was a late lunch/ early dinner time. Sat on the patio that over looked the river. Bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun was cooked perfectly and was delicious! Service was good. We’ve driven past this restaurant many times in the past without stopping in, but never again.
