Great dining experience! Food is delicious! Waitresses are hospitable and friendly. Although it looked busy it had lots of room. But we sat at the bar and watched a horse race and got the scoop from the sweet bartender with the beautiful nails. We had a great late lunch fried chicken salad - the Cajun pecans oh yeah! Hubby had the tenderloin- it was gone before got to see it and afternoon drinks and loved all of it. They have been there since the 1800s. 3 owners doing everything...
The staff is very friendly and efficient and the food was great! The hand battered fried mushrooms were perfect, the breading was light and crispy. I had the whitefish dinner with lemon pepper that was cooked perfectly. My husband had the trout special and it was delicious as well. We finished it off with the carrot cake, that was off the charts!
We went to the Jaywalker last night for the first time. The food was amazing. Portions were very large. Food was hot. The waitstaff was very good. Price was very good with all that you get. The Carrot Cake we were "blessed" to enjoy was AMAZING! Thank you so much. Thank you so much! The Rohl's
