We used Catering by Kelly's for our October wedding, based on the recommendation of our venue coordinator. We absolutely loved our experience! Planning was easy and they were very responsive to questions throughout the process. During our event, the staff was excellent - they made sure everything ran smoothly, were so attentive to my husband and I (e.g., we were never without a beverage in our hand, they greeted us after the on-site ceremony with a sampling of our appetizers, packed us each a to-go box of dinner and dessert for after the reception, etc.), and made sure our guests had everything they needed. The food was phenomenal and we received so many compliments both on the food and the impeccable service. There was never a line for the bar or the buffet. The servers were unobtrusive and friendly. We highly recommend them and would absolutely choose them again!

Kelly’s catered our rehearsal dinner and our wedding as well a bar tended both, provided linens and dishes, and dessert. Everything was incredible! The food was amazing, the service was fast, everything was clean. A member from the team even made sure my new husband and I got a plate to bring home with us in case we needed a midnight snack (since the day goes by so fast you don’t get much time to eat) and made sure to bring us appetizers right away. It was so easy to coordinate allergies, they served the head table and our families first, and they accepted unique requests (like a welcome drink and I requested to change to plastic cups once the dancing started). Would recommend them again and again

The employees brought out drinks and appetizers to us as we were taking pictures and made sure to box an extra meal up for us to take home at the end of the night.
I was also nervous about dietary restrictions being vegan myself, however, they had plenty of delicious vegan options! I had the most amazing risotto. Would highly recommend this company for your big day!

Kelly's is hands down the best catering service in North-west Michigan. When we were considering a caterer for our wedding reception, we were overwhelmingly suggested to call Kelly's. Needless to say, they were top-notch and did not disappoint. We chose the carving station and it was absolutely a hit. I've worked in high-end restaurants as a server/bartender and have to give a shoutout to the expertly trained staff. They went above and beyond in making sure all 90 of our guests were well taken care of. I appreciated that the servers made a plate of appetizers for my wife and me knowing full well that we would be busy taking photos. Another special shout out to Chef Mike, consider yourself lucky if he's the one running the show. Once the wedding day came, their professionalism & quality of work really showed when we decided to impromptu extend our cocktail hour by 30 minutes since our ceremony ran late. They did this with no problem AT ALL and no one noticed (including me).
Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food - especially the swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, and late night snack hot dogs. And don't get me started on the level of service, with the plated salad, buffet, and cake serving going off without a hitch.

We shopped around for vendors for quite some time, but decided on Catering by Kelly's shortly after first contacting them. Not only are they professional, thorough, and detail oriented-- but Josh and his team were beyond friendly & personable. From the first phone call, to the service on the day of our wedding, to the follow-up after our wedding day... we were blown away. Our guests were too!
Catering was probably our largest expense, but by-far the best investment. We were able to customize our menus using various options that are sure to satisfy most taste-buds and allergies. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the bartenders knowledgeable... I truly have a had time finding the words for how well us and our guests were treated. 10/10 would recommend booking Catering by Kelly's for your wedding or catering-needs.
**The smallest detail: They unfortunately do not have photos of the actual colors of their linens/napkins, and only a PDF that is provided to them by the linen company. This made it a little difficult to color-match the rest of the décor at my wedding. I ended up opting for a more neutral color to stay on the safe side, which still ended up being beautiful.
I will be sure to return to this review with photos of the beautiful table set-up, and anything that shows just how amazing Catering by Kelly's was at our event. Don't hesitate booking with them!

On the day of they brought appetizers up to the ceremony site with our signature drinks to make sure my husband and I had them! They also made sure I was covered to not get any food on my dress! They took extra care to make sure were were taken care of. The food was INCREDIBLE! I don't think I have ever had mashed potatoes that good. The price for the services and quality of food was very fair! If I was able to give more then 5 stars I would!!

We went in blind not being able to do a tasting beforehand as we booked them on short notice but thankfully reviews and word of mouth did not disappoint and everything was amazing. From the first greeting where Chelsea came up and gave me hand warmers to hold around my bouquet to keep me warm to making sure we got appetizers while pictures were being done, to even taking care of a last minute change for the grooms meal, the staff went above and beyond and were so accommodating. The food was not at all your typical wedding food, everything exceeded expectations. We got many compliments about how good it all was. I wouldnt hesitate to go with them again. Definitely recommend.
