Shakers Bar and Grill - Wixom

I have been a regular for years and went in today at 615pm. Signs everywhere stating happy hour goes until 7pm. Know the bartender well. He serves two mic ultras and when I go to close the tab he tells me happy hour only runs until 6pm in the fall contrary to every sign innthe building. Will never go back and lost all respect for the bartender who I thought was a good guy. Unbelieveable how businesses screw loyal customers.

I enjoyed my dinner very much! I had the chili salmon. It had an awesome, sweet chili sauce. The sugar in the sauce left a fantastic caramelized crunch under and around the salmon. My waitress was very nice and attentive. I will definitely come back.

Got to stop into Shakers here in Wixom for a photo shoot. General Manager John was fantastic to work with and presented some really great looking entrees!

Shakers has simplified item pricing with everything basically $15 or so but you get a lot of food for the price. The Wixom restaurant atmosphere was also modern and nice, without being too overwhelmingly sports-bary / in your face for just having a good meal at.

If you're on the way through Wixom on 96 or are simply local and want some tasty food, stop in and try them out.

Pleasant atmosphere, good food, and service. Prices seemed reasonable. I got a half pound BBQ Burger with fries for $15. Meat was tender and cooked medium. Toppings were cheddar cheese, bacon, and onion ring on a brioche bun. Fries were okay, maybe overcooked a touch. Others in my party had the Chicken Salad and Veggie Pizza with no complaints. Our server was very attentive and accommodating.

My mom ordered a bacon burger which came with no bacon. She asked for mustard and she brought a yellow sweet sauce that looked like mustard instead. My chicken sandwich was so overcooked and the fries were unbelievably salty. The waitress showed up to deliver the food and then the hostess had to take care of us after that. The waitress showed up and dropped the bill fast and scurried away, took the payment and tossed the receipt at the table. I rarely complain about restaurant experiences but that blonde waitress has been the worst service I’ve ever experienced lol still in awe when she tossed the receipt at us. Like dang girl you’re mad that you provided bad service?

The black & blue burger was very good and prices are reasonable. If you like a sports bar atmosphere; there are tv screens everywhere you look. Employees were very courteous. Fair prices for what you get at $15 for a high-quality specialty burger with a side. I would eat here again.

Dietary restrictions: No gluten-free bun option for the burgers, but they do offer a lettuce wrapped version as an alternative.

Employees from my job gathered one evening to send a leaving coworker off to a new job, new city. I ordered Garlic fries, upon arrival the fries were not hot and in all honesty, tasteless. Our waitress made the difference as she was attentive and very nice. I've been to this Shakers before because it's close to my employer's location but I find I'm just not a fan of their food.?

Service was slightly slow given not even being at half capacity. Food was good and restaurant was clean. Was somewhat cold in the building and especially the bathroom.
