The food and service was amazing as always. However, we were seated on the far side of the patio and the weather was much too cold today for patio seating. We were very cold even in our heavy jackets for our entire meal.

My wife saw on Facebook that the family is selling Volare and Alex's. You can see below from my review after a recent visit to Volare my family's history with both restaurants. From weekly meals at Volare to grabbing lunch carryout's at Alex's to Volare catering our daughters High School graduation party in 2008 at our house we have a long history with the family. Congratulations to Alex and Maria on their retirement and to Dino and the rest of the family on whatever future endeavors they may pursue. Dino and family thank you for all the great memories!!!!
Before moving out of the area in 2011 we frequented Volare on a weekly basis and loved everything about it. Dino and his family do a great job with everything about this restaurant. We went back today for the Easter Brunch and it was absolutely awesome. Not to mention his Dad runs Alex's in the same building and does a great job also, You don't find too many Italian restaurants like this any more. Family owned and operated and everyone in the family has a role at the restaurant. A hidden gem in downtown Wixom.

We have been going to Volare for years and the experience has deteriorated with our more recent visits. We were sat at the patio on Saturday and it was my husband's birthday. The overhead heat lamps were extremely hot and uncomfortable. Our waiter was not kind when we asked for a different table and was rather sarcastic about it. This did not bode well for the remainder of the meal. He took our order, the food was brought to us and we never saw him again until he delivered the check. Volare can do better than that.

I had never eaten inside on a Friday night. The noise level is very loud. I couldn't hear my friend across the table. Maybe the other diners were exceptionally loud? Or maybe the owners should install some damping in the ceiling. Food is consistently good, service is always kind.

Although they got the drink order after 30 minutes and after we ask for it, the food came pretty quick. No ice bucket for white wine.

Great food with large portions. Cocktails and wine were perfect and a great overall experience for our group.

Martin made the experience perfect. Martin is more than a busser. He actually was so entertaining, attentive, and beyond helpful. When you come in for an amazing Italian experience, make sure you give this man a big hug.
We dine here once a month food is always delicious and the service is outstanding!

Food was delicious, service was lacking a bit this time. Felt rushed at times and at other points we were all done and just waiting for them to come and pack up our leftovers. They started asking about dessert before clearing the table or packing up the food. And when they asked, they hadn’t brought the dessert menu. They also didn’t ask if anyone wanted coffee…..it was a bit disappointing.
