Heading back from the UP, we got hungry. Found this on Google. Wow. We will be stopping again as we travel. Brett was serving us.
Stopped in while passing through town. Delicious meal, good service all around.
Good selection of food. Great pizzas. Can be a little noisy at times but it is a bar.

Torrey Tavern has a great atmosphere, though it is a bit dim during the day. The burger is very meaty and juicy with nice fresh veggies, and the fries are great as well. From the outside, it looks like a dirty old tavern in the middle of the woods, but inside the place is way different. There is cold beer, and the pizza was delicious. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back with football on the tv. Service was quick even though it got fairly busy. The cheeseburger was really tasty and cooked just like ordered, and the onion rings and cheese sticks were great. One of the Grinders was really liked. Torrey Tavern had a good selection of food and great service, good cold beer and mixed drinks very well put together. The pizza is good and the wait staff great. The bartender was friendly and invited us to karaoke.
