5 Stars – Incredible Experience!
Serendipity Cakery in Riverview, Michigan made my daughter’s 11th birthday extra special! They provided all of the cakes and desserts for the party, and everything was absolutely perfect. The attention to detail was amazing—from the themed decorations to the beautiful finishing touches. The cakes were super moist and flavorful, and every single dessert tasted just as good as it looked. We received so many compliments from both the kids and the parents. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Serendipity Cakery for any event—can’t wait to order from them again!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have tried to contact them several times and I leave message after message. I was told multiple times the owner would contact me it’s been over a week and she has not once reached out to me.
My family spent over $400 on desserts and I specifically sent photos, instructions for them and they didn’t provide what I asked for. They forgot to put the writing on the cake, the cake didn’t look like what I asked for. All of the wrong colors, the wrong design. I specifically told them I didn’t want the baby shaped cookies. The cake pops were not cake pops they were little cake balls, the cookies were nothing what I asked for, the cupcakes nothing what I asked for and were gross. But I just was like this was a lot of money and I was so specific. For reference my MIL picked them up so I didn’t see them until set up for the shower. But for this amount of money I expected professional work not amateur work that Walmart can do better. The left side of photos is what I specifically asked for and provided photos for. The right is what I received. Also, I wasn’t as mad about this until I asked to provide feedback to the owner and SHE NEVER CALLED ME after multiple times being told she would call me. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I threw a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend and really wanted a cake or cookies that were Bigfoot themed. He doesn’t really like cake so when they suggested I review the packages I definitely had to take advantage of one with cookies, cake, and chocolate dipped goodies! Not only did Serendipity do an amazing job on the theme, and of course they were all delicious, all of our guests absolutely loved it! I’m glad they at least left a few for me to try because I’ve heard great things about their sugar cookies. The real thing that put it over the top for me was the chocolate dipped nutter butter, I didn’t know I needed in my life. We had to try and snag and hide some of the goodies to take home later because he loved them so much, he needed a few for his personal snack stash!

Had a great experience with Serendipity Cakery. Used them for our wedding this past weekend and they did not disappoint. Owner Tammie went above and beyond to make sure my husband had his favorite flavor of cake drops.
Highly recommend them for any wedding or event you have.
Edit: I love the cake pops, so I put in an online order on a Wednesday and my husband went to pick up on the following Tuesday. I received an email saying my order was ready for pickup on Monday. When husband went to pickup on Tuesday, one of the flavors was not available. The whole point of my online order was to have the specific flavors I picked out. Don’t tell me my order is ready when it’s not… Service and Atmosphere is receiving a 1 star.

Wonderful. They have made cookies, cupcakes and cakes for our family for years.
Absolutely love this bakery! The bundle deals they offer are fantastic and the price is so reasonable. We have used them for the past few years for birthday parties and baby showers and I will be returning in June for the next party!

The staff is always friendly. They are accommodating to the designs you want for cakes/cupcakes. They are always soft and fluffy! We love their salted caramel flavor the most!! Go check them out!

We had a cake prepared at Serendipity and were really disappointed. For a quarter sheet cake they charged $70 and the quality was sub par. 15 is missing the th, in the name you can clearly see they tried it once and piped over it, the ribbons are sloppy and overall look was disappointing. We will be going back to BJ’s or Meijer where it’s a less than half the cost for better quality.

Everything is so good. I haven't had their ice cream, but cakes, cookies and cupcakes are amazing and always decored exactly how you want it. We had a grinch theme for Christmas last year it was so well done. Need to try the cake pops next.
