This place right here captain's have some really good food I'm coming all the way from Romulus mi to come get there food hands down to the cook thanks love you're food keep it up. And the service was great and the waitress was awesome me and my husband will be back.

What could have been a great experience turned out to be the worst of the bars we headed to. It was a beautiful day out on Sunday so we went to Captains because we usually have a great experience and a good staff on hand there. We say in the back outside close to the bar and an older lady who I had never seen before was bartending. They had live music which was great and a good atmosphere. However; we waited 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken (wasn't that busy might I add) and then she NEVER came back to tale our order again. We wanted to eat and drink and we never got to eat because she never returned. So we had our one drink and got so tired of waiting for her that we decided to tab out. It was seriously like she went out of her way to ignore us and she had to pass us EVERY SINGLE TIME to go to the tables behind us. We went to the bar to pay our tab and that even took forever! She messed up 2 other patrons bills I noticed because one of them was billed twice and another I couldn't hear what happened. They I'm sure had a big issue with her not just because of the bill but something else because they had one drink and left as well. I usually have a great experience but this particular visit was horrible.
So anyways we tabbed out and headed to the inside to try our luck inside. AGAIN nobody came and served us. Apparently the servers were to busy having their own conversation on the other half of the bar and nobody felt like working. Such a BAAAAAD experience so we left.

The real Truth
I wanted to update my review. This bar is known for issues. I’m a frequent Dotte pub patron and there is always a crazy situation going on over there. Bouncers are very confrontational and like to push people around. On top of that they lock people out of the bar and throw them out after buying one drink. Bouncers take it upon theirselves to pour out peoples drinks and call them awful names, then advise them they can get them banned from the bar. I do not and will not ever visit this bar again. The crowd setting is older during the day, but at the night falls, a much younger crowd takes center stage. If you’re looking for a good drink, look elsewhere. Awful place and should be shut down due to double charging certain people for drinks and picking out random people to bully. Not safe for kids, and would not even recommend to any person older or younger. Just awful!!

Food is amazing! Nicole and Quinn are amazing bartenders ! Only problem I had here was bartenders/customers critiquing what music I paid for specifically the music being mexican not fair considering the fact people pay for the music they play, but other than that awesome bar and staff
Want there for lunch with family and the food was good and the bartender was amazing and I think been there 3 time and has been better.

Came in here with family from out of town for a drink and they refused to serve my 32 year old sister and 25 year old cousin because they had an out of state ID and made us leave on 7/24/24. Didn’t even bother to look at or scan our IDs. Lost our business ??

Just another run of the mill bar. Nothing special. They also charge males to just enter. Lol like it's some extravagant place??. If ur gonna charge us to be present then at least offer something unique. Otherwise going to any other bar makes more sense, to me.
