“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Thank you for a dreamy night.“

“Me and my sister ate lunch at Ford’s Garage in Dearborn. We ordered the Fried Chicken Comfort Bowl. This meal is amazing, and the price is right“

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. My meal was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — no complaints at all.

What really stood out to me was the professionalism of the staff. I noticed a few customers being quite rude on Thanksgiving (of all days), and I felt genuinely bad for the young team working so hard as it was so busy. Despite the situation, they remained calm, polite, and handled everything with great maturity.

The staff truly deserve recognition for their effort and excellent performance service. I hope future guests will treat them with the kindness and respect they earn every day.“

“Turkey and ham and all the trimmings. It was a very good meal reasonable price. One thing is the stuffing could have been better a little more tastier and not so dry. The date nut bread was fantastic as was the pecan pie. Probably do it agaim.“

“The service and food were excellent. We had a burger and Asian bowl, as well as appetizers. Everything was good. Prices weren’t too bad, but selection of wines could have been better.
On the other hand, the place definitely needs sprucing up. A thorough cleaning, chair covers redone and cobwebs removed from the washrooms. Attention to detail is not the best quality. Hopefully that will change as it is one of the better places to eat in Amherstburg.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
