We hired Jay Ray's BBQ for our wedding reception last month and when I tell you we were blown away that is a under statement! We had about 160 guests and everyone raved about how amazing and moist the chicken and pork was. I had a handful of guests say that the food was some of the best they've had at a wedding. Everyone left with full bellies and we had so many leftovers. I cant get over how affordable and friendly everything and everyone was! I highly recommend!

Jay Rays BBQ has came through twice for us. Once at a diaper party and then again at his first birthday party the following year. I have been short notice and asked a lot and he has always came through.The food is amazing and all everyone talks about. The pulled pork and chicken thighs last time were amazing. He even made separate dishes for gluten free guests which means so much to us.We will be using him for every personal and business event we host.

Communication was easy and efficient, we received a complimentary tasting beforehand and also a HUGE bottle of his delicious bbq sauce. Jay Rays catered our BBQ lunch a couple weeks ago. We ordered for about 205 people.Food - the food was fine. A lot of complaints about how dry the chicken breast was but besides that everyone seemed to enjoy the food.Service - Overall, the service was fine. It was a very busy BBQ and we were not able to supervise them 24/7. A lot of the time I just saw them sitting/laying on the picnic tables. Probably would have been better if we just served the food ourselves.Biggest Complaint - This came with clean up. After we saw how bored the wait staff was, we decided to let them know that they could clean up and go. However, during this clean up they decided that all left over food was for them to bring back with them and not leave. We purchased 205 people worth of food but that was certainly not what we were given. When I went to check in I noticed some left over food on the table that I picked up to take with me when one of the wait staff stopped me, took the food out of my hands and told me that was there food to take back and treated me like I had stolen from them. Out of the 205 people we had about 75 show up so I know there should have been more leftovers than there was and we should have been able to take all leftovers since we paid for them.Complaining to the Owner - I reached out to the owner who said he would look into it after I had explained all this to him. His response was that he apologized that we did not get the turn out that we expected and he would make it up to us with some office lunches. Also saying that his wait staff thought that they were doing what was right. Which really scares me because of how many other people got food stolen from them because of Jay Rays wait staff. He took zero accountability for his wait staff and tried to blame us because we told them to clean up.Overall, very poor experience and we will not be using them again. If you decide to use them, I would suggest getting inventory of what you bought in your purchase prices, not using his wait staff and do it yourself and if you do use their waitstaff, SUPERVISE them.

Jay catered my son's graduation party. He was very helpful every step of the way and answered every question I had from advice on how many people to order for to supplies that were provided the day of the event to assist in serving the food. We ordered the pulled pork, meatballs with gravy, mac 'n cheese, cheesy potatoes, and pasta salad. To say that the food was delicious is an understatement. Everything was absolutely amazing and all of our guests made sure to let us know how much they loved the food. There was more than enough food for everyone with, lucky for us, enough left over for us to enjoy after the party! His employee that delivered the food was very friendly and helpful. She made sure to let us know the temperature to keep the extra food warm in the oven until we needed it as well as what to do to keep the food out on the serving table warm and not dried out. I would highly recommend Jay Ray's BBQ to everyone I know and will definitely be using him again the next time we need a caterer!

Jay Ray's BBQ catered our banquet event to rave reviews! The food (pulled pork, chicken breast) was a total hit and the sides, especially the mac n cheese and corn casserole, were fantastic. The process could not have been easier. They were responsive, set all the food up at the requested time, and cleaned it all up when dinner was done. It doesn't get easier or more delicious than this!
