I got the flight ! The place is cute, and the coffee, while mostly all tasting the same despite it being four different flavors, were not bad. However, I walked in and was greeted with the coldest barista I’ve met ? I had to say how are you twice to even get him to look in my direction , and after I saw him be sweet as can be to everyone else who came in. First time I didn’t leave a tip

I got the Missed Flight Fancy Toast and their pumpkin latte and.....French kiss, holy crap IT'S SOOOO GOOOOD ??

I needed a pick-me-up and the toast was perfect and I always enjoy a cup of coffee and their coffee is to DIE FOR FOR!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ?????

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It's so calming and relaxing and the two people working we're the sweetest! ?

Surprised I’ve never reviewed this place. We’ve pretty much abandoned all other coffee shops near us and only go to Kekoa now ?.

Coffee is bomb especially since they started roasting their own beans. (Go for the natural processed one if you like the funky stuff like me)

Bagels are awesome. Crunchy and soft on the inside.

The bowls are usually pretty great too!

And the baristas always seem like they’re excited and enjoy showing off the cool stuff the shop does!

Place just has good vibes lol.

Had the Denver toast and Galactic pumpkin latte the other day for breakfast! Amazing! Service was great as well! Very kind and inviting staff, cute atmosphere!

This environment is so cool. And seems very clean. However the attitude we received from one of the staff was just ignorant. We only had a 100 dollar bill which they couldn’t take. Definitely understandable because I worked in a retail store and especially for small businesses, it is hard to break 100. The staff member was just so rude about it , we were going to get change and come back but we never did because the attitude was just so bad we didn’t want to come back. Still yet to try. Overall a very cute place. Just a bad experience that day.

Best place to get my millennial avocado toast ? Really Appreciate the organic ingredients made in-house. Just wish there was some sound dampening b/c it gets loud when it’s busy.

Probably the best bagel you will find around here unless you go to NYC. The Asiago bagel with the whipped garlic dill cream cheese is amazing. So much flavor. The coffee is great. They roast their own beans in house. The staff is always friendly. So much better than Starbucks. Support great local businesses like this one.

Kekoa consistently delivers excellent coffee with fast and friendly service. I love their seasonal specials, and their “Denver” avocado toast is one of my favorite light breakfasts.

Best tasting coffee and food, warmest atmosphere, and kindest staff in the Detroit-area, hands down. Forget about Starbucks, Dunkin, or Biggby… Kekoa became my favorite coffee after day one!! My six kids and I absolutely LOVE Kekoa. We visit at least once per month as a family to try the latest flight, and my kids look forward to playing on the cute barista coffee shop set up they have in house ? Keep up the wonderful work, Kekoa!!
