The service was horrible the employees were unhelpful the meat pierogi was sweet and nasty. No wonder the parking lot is always empty and it always looks closed!

I've been to the Polonus Restaurant many times and find their food very good. When I'm in the Wyandotte area, I will stop and pick up a quart of their pickle soup which is the best around. Unfortunately, I arrived ten minutes before they open but waited. The older staff person who unlocked the door was not so friendly and somewhat rude when I and another customer finally got in to order our carryouts. After this experience, I think I will try to make the soup myself instead of dealing with staff of that nature.
Parking: Plenty of parking as arrival time was ten minutes before they opened.
Best Polish food I have ever had. Whenever we are in the Detroit area we always eat here.

This was always a nice place to get some Polish food, until they decided to raise the prices through the roof. This food is not fancy by any means and getting instant potatoes for what they are charging is completely ridiculous. The server was a real sweetheart and has a lovely set of legs. But that's not enough for me to pay a large bill for a small amount of over priced food.
