Great Irish bar/restaurant. A little small and tight but the food is definitely worth it. Always a great spot for a drink or a celebration.

The perch dinner was fantastic and the owner took 2 minutes of his time to talk to me on my way out. As a business owner that's the best kind of marketing there is. It gives a guy a personal connection to the business, and I hope a lasting connection for the owner as well.

I stopped by R.P. McMurphy’s for lunch and had a really enjoyable experience! The restaurant has a classic, old-school pub vibe — cozy interior with historic charm and friendly staff that make you feel welcome right away.

For lunch, I ordered their famous chicken salad sandwich and it was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The menu has plenty of variety, from salads and sandwiches to more substantial entrees, so there’s something for just about everyone.

Service was attentive — our server checked in regularly and made sure we had what we needed. The pace of food coming out was solid for a midday meal too. What really stood out was the balance between comfort food and creative options, which made lunch feel both satisfying and a bit special.

Overall, a solid choice for lunch if you’re in downtown Wyandotte. Would definitely come back! 🍔🥗

The wife and I finally got out and had our anniversary dinner last night and it was so nice. She had the perch and i had the shrimp picante w a side of cole slaw. I discovered that a non-alcoholic Moscow mule existed and I loved it. The food was absolutely phenomenal, even the veggies were BOMB! 5 🌟 food, service and ambiance. Its a bit pricey but id definitely recommend for anyone looking for a special place for a special occasion.

Walked in with some friends and the 2 workers were so rude and unwelcoming. We ended up walking right back out. Never been here so I was wanting to try it, won’t ever go back.

I have been going to RP’s since 1971. It's been a great spot in a great city. John is a hard-working hands-on stand-up guy who was born to be in the business. Five stars are not enough to rate his establishment.

Yummy specials today. Been going to Rps for many many years. Nice to know they are keeping garlic dressing as is and adding yummy appetizers . (Spicy cheesy Chicken spring egg roll.. OMG.. Delicious!)

Table service and food quality is superb to say the least. Hands down the best caesar salad in Wyandotte, possibly even Wayne County. The patio is beautifully appointed and very cozy. Very grateful to be a patron here at Wyandotte's oldest operating restaurant. Restaurants like this make Wyandotte the town that it is!
