I normally eat at checkers at least once a week but after my last experience I don't know if I ever want to eat there again The service was absolute CRAP!! The man who took my order and my food where both cold as ice I my self work in customer service and if I was like that to any of my customers I would expect to be 100% fired within the hour!!!! I've never had such a bad experience getting lunch in my life time & haven't been back since

I order from the website and pick up the food after I finish at Planet Fitness. I usually get the 5 pc chicken tenders with fries and a coke. The food is very tasty and the honey mustard is decent. The first time I went through the drive thru, I had to wait 10 min to get to the window but I can't fault the employees for that. Overall, good food for a good price!

This location used to be the most consistent in good service and giving you the right order. Now I've been shorted food 4 of the last 5 times I've gone. Their food is good, when made correctly, but they seriously need to pay more or something cause the workers have been getting worse over the last few years now. Gotta love when CEO'S refuse to take a pay cut at the cost of their product.
I have no Idea how a fast food place can serve such high quality sandwiches at the prices they do and stay profitable. They manage to pull it off with flying colors. Great place to grab a quick, Delicious bite!!!

Commuting across Wyoming, MI their sign caught my eyes. I have always had a low key affinity for the Checkers brand. The tastes of a grilled burger and fresh vegetables. The marriage of tomato, pungent red onion, pickles & lettuce. Meshed with mayonnaise, pure goodness. Didn't surf reviews prior to visiting. Our stop was based solely on nostalgia. (Across social media, reviews look abysmal.) Filled with glee I was. Checkers is hard to find in nw Illinois and of the locations available they are hit or miss with shortened hours.Driving up to the order screen we couldn't tell whether they were open or closed for good? Newish looking location. That day was Labor day and in a small town of Michigan, you never know.It took time for their full staff to finish preparing our and another motorist' order. Decided to buy a few sandwiches to go which was a current promotion. A few sandwiches of different kinds for one low, low price. Got a bag of fish sandwiches, a couple burgers and some of their tasty fries. The food was good surprisingly. Smaller now than those I've had years ago. The taste was fresh though. Food hit the spot.
