“Stopped here on my way into Grand Rapids. I have never tried it before and only saw the sign. I ordered the steak taco.. BEST TACOS I have ever had. Honestly, this place deserves more attention than it receives. The steak was so flavorful! Highly recommend!“
“It was my first time here and I loved it! We went for my friend's birthday and she got a free birthday shot! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. You also get chips and salsa while you wait for your food. It's very cute inside and they will occasionally have live music. The service was exceptional and I will be back!“
“If you are in the mood for good tacos, search no further. Doña Guille has opened a brick and mortar spot on Burton for the winter months. This used to be just the kitchen that supported her food truck, but now she is staying open through the winter. This is not a sit down restaurant, it is exclusively a take-out spot, however the food is legit. My wife and I ordered some tacos, some corn, and a large horchata. Doña Guille was so sweet and gave us a churro to sample. The tacos were very tasty; try the Pastor, the Cabeza, and the Tripa. Take my word for it the Tripa will really surprise you, it was my favorite taco we ate. The elote, or corn, was awesome: Corn, mayo, cheese and chili was an awesome combination. I can't wait to try more!!“
“$10 taco deal gets you 3 tacos with rice and beans. Great portion and it tasted decent. Generous portion of grilled onions included. I found the beans too liquidy and their salsa bitter. If they upped their salsa game, that'd make a huge difference. Closed Sundays.“
“Not your standard American-based Mexican place in all the best ways. I haven't had better rice and beans outside of San Diego. Didn't know one could get this ripe of avocados outside of Mexico/California. Tortillas made in house. Truly magnificent. Authentic, fresh ingredients cooked and seasoned perfectly. My new go-to spot for fresh Mexican food.“
“Lydia was an exceptional waitress, absolutely wonderful to my son (who was having a rather rough day for a 5yo). Food was great just wish there was a greater variety of vegetables either in salads or tacos.Vegetarian options: Not many if any options.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, just not the healthiest of dishes.“
“Pretty much the quintessential Mexican restaurant. Steak burrito, rice, beans, horchata is my jam and they do it well.Kid-friendliness: They put Bluey on for my kids, which I appreciated. The staff was also friendly interacting with my kiddos.“
“I can’t go to GR without a quick stop to Char! Seriously, if you haven’t eaten here, you should question your life choices! Original and delicious food and drink selections, not to mention BAKLAVA. Service is awesome, and food is fast and amazing. Run, don’t walk to get you some loaded won ton nachos!“
“Nice clean restrooms! Order at the counter and have a seat, I recommend the Coctel de Carmaron or the shrimp cocktail. They also serve a delicious agua de horchata that you shouldn’t pass up. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was welcoming, will be back to try more menu items. ?? Don Beto’“
“Food was great. Generous portion sizes. However their 3 taco special is now $12.50. They charge extra if you want cheese on your tacos. They also charge an extra fee if you pay using credit card but won't tell you about it at checkout. Two taco meals for $30 before tip. At that price I'll go to my local hood spot for Mexican style tacos.“
