Oh my god, I know family diners are something to be praised amd treasured for their simplicity and home-cooked meals but by FAR this was the single best breakfast I've ever had.Definitely going to be a regular here
This was a solid choice for lunch. The signage isn't great, so be warned. I was totally planning to have a sandwich and some soup when I got there -- until I saw that they had corned beef hash. I asked whether it was homemade or came out of a can. To my great delight, it was housemade. I was also asked if I wanted it made with American fries or hash browns, which was a nice touch. My family and I have only made it to J&J's for breakfast, but it was so good we went three times in one week! The portions are very generous and the prices are fair. Service is always the BEST here. If you enjoy fresh corned beef, you need to try their corned beef hash! (Plus these ladies know to have the hot sauce ready!) Fresh, hot, and delicious food! A classic diner experience with that cozy small-town charm. What's not to love?
