Bird Dog Baking is a gem. I used to frequent The Mill in San Francisco, my favorite spot for fresh-baked bread, so discovering that the owners of Bird Dog worked there was a great sign. Since moving to Ann Arbor, I’ve been looking for that same level of quality and care in bread-making, and Bird Dog delivers. Their baguette is the best I’ve had since I moved to Michigan. It’s crusty, flavorful, and clearly made with skill and passion. This place is a must for bread lovers....
The kabocha squash hand-pie was perfect. The amount of filling was ideal and evenly dispersed through. I don't know what to say about the pastry other than it was perfect and flaky in the way I always want handpies to be flaky.

We love Bird Dog and come here pretty often. I love the sweet potato latte! So unique. All the treats are great. We usually have great service but today we had someone wait on us who was pretty cold and not friendly which makes me not as excited about coming back.
